Band Size (the numerical part of your bra size) = Body Measurement + 2(or 3) inches
While wearing your bra, measure over the bottom band of your bra, around your chest, just underneath breasts. If the result is an even number, add 2 inches to the number. If the result is an odd number, add 3 inches. (Note: If you are soft and fleshy, your Band Size will usually equal your Body Measurement, and there is no need to add the 2-3 inches.)

Bust Measurement = Fullest part of your bust
While wearing your bra, measure around the fullest part of your bust. This is your Bust Measurement.
|
| 3. |
Cup Size (the letter part of your bra size) = Bust Measurement - Band Size
Cup size is determined by subtracting the Band Size from the Bust Measurement.
A difference of :
0-1" is an A cup.
2" is a B cup.
3" is a C cup.
4" is a D cup.
5" is a DD/E cup.
|
|
6" is a DDD/F cup.
7" is a FF/G cup.
8" is a H cup.
9" is a I cup.
10" is a J cup.

Bra size = Band Size + Cup Size
For example, if you have a Bust Measurement of 42" and a Band Size of 38", there is a difference of 4". Your bra size would be 38D (42" - 38" = 4" = D cup). Bear in mind these measuring techniques are a guide only. Depending on the bra style, you may be more comfortable one size up or down from your calculated size
